Things To Try First

Hand holding remote with blurry tv in backgroundIf you are having problems with the remote provided by BLTV, try the following suggestions:

  • Replace the batteries with 2 new AA batteries.
  • Discover what is/isn’t working: Try changing the channel, operating the volume, operating the power, etc.
  • Verify the TV is on the correct channel and input.
  • Reboot the Gateway by unplugging the power cord. Once you plug the cord back in, the STB will go through several loading screens.
    If it asks for an activation code, enter your phone number – including your area code.

Programming for TV – Code Search Method

  1. Ensure that Television is powered on.
  2. Press TV.
  3. Press and Hold SETUP until TV light flashes twice.
  4. Press TV. TV light should stay on.
  5. Press and Hold OK / Select until Television turns off.
    TV light will flash every second or so. If it stops flashing, it has tried all known codes.
  6. Press STB.
  7. Turn Television back on and test.

  1. Ensure that Television is powered on.
  2. Press TV
  3. Press and Hold SETUP until TV light flashes twice.
  4. Enter Code from link:
    TV light should flash twice.
  5. Press POWER or WATCH TV.
  6. If Television turned off, press STB and test.
  7. If not, try Disable VIDEO INPUT Button

In some circumstances, it might be beneficial to disable the VIDEO INPUT button to prevent accidental input changes. Follow this procedure to do so:

  1. Press and hold SETUP until a mode light flash twice.
  2. Press VIDEO INPUT.
  3. Press AUDIO
  4. Press STB

Enable VIDEO INPUT Button

If the TV light does not come on when you press VIDEO INPUT, it may have been disabled. To re-enabled it, follow this procedure:

  1. Press and hold SETUP until a mode light flash twice.
  2. Press VIDEO INPUT.
  3. Press TV
  4. Press STB.

Switch ADB / Amino

The remotes with a yellow dot at the bottom can operate both ADB and Amino STBs. Follow this procedure to switch:

  • For Amino: Hold SETUP and GO until STB button flashes twice.
  • For ADB: Hold SETUP and A until STB button flashes twice.
  • For Entone/Unknown: Hold SETUP and C until STB button flashes twice.

Setting up Remote for TV Stream
  1. Press and hold the LED button. Hold until the LED button blinks, then release. Press the Record button (button with the little red dot on it) once and release.
