Things To Try First

Hand holding remote with blurry tv in backgroundIf you are having problems with the remote provided by BLTV, try the following suggestions:

  • Replace the batteries with 2 new AA batteries.
  • Discover what is/isn’t working: Try changing the channel, operating the volume, operating the power, etc.
  • Verify the TV is on the correct channel and input.
  • Reboot the Gateway by unplugging the power cord. Once you plug the cord back in, the STB will go through several loading screens.
    If it asks for an activation code, enter your phone number – including your area code.

Programming the Remote

Eclypse STB TV Remote Setup

  1. Press STB one time. The STB button at the top of the remote should flash once.
  2. Hold the Setup button until the STB button blinks twice.
    1. Press 982. If the STB button blinks twice that means the remote is locked. If the STB button blinks 4 times that means the remote is Unlocked.
    2. Make sure the remote is Unlocked.
  3. Press the STB button once.
  4. Hold Setup until the STB button blinks twice.
  5. If you have the ADB set top box enter the code 2586. If you have the Amino set top box press 1481.
  6. The STB button should blink twice.
  7. Verify the correct code has been entered by aiming the remote at the set top box and changing channels, and bringing up the guide.
  8. After verification, press the STB button one time.
  9. Hold Setup button until the STB button blinks twice.
  10. Press 982. The STB button should blink twice to indicate that it is locked
Setting the TV Code
  1. Press and hold the SETUP until the Mode Key blinks twice.
  2. Press and release the TV button at the top of the Remote Control.
  3. Find your TV Code in the table below.
  4. Press and hold that 1 digit key.
  5. Let go of the key as soon as your TV cuts off.
  6. If the TV doesn’t cut off, try Steps 1-5 again with the next code.
  7. If none of the codes work, press SETUP until the TV key blinks twice, then press the TV button.
  8. Press and hold the OK/Select Key.
  9. Then let go of the OK/Select when your TV turns off.

Millennium 4 TV Remote Setup

  1. Press CBL one time. The LED indicator at the top of the remote should flash once.
  2. Hold the Setup button until the LED indicator blinks twice.
    1. Press 982. If the LED indicator blinks twice that means the remote is Locked. If the LED indicator blinks 4 times that means the remote is Unlocked.
    2. Make sure the remote is Unlocked.
  3. Press the CBL button once.
  4. Hold Setup until the LED indicator blinks twice.

Setting TV Code
  1. Press and release TV once. Then press and hold SETUP until the LED blinks twice.
  2. Enter the four-digit code for your TV from the table in the PDF above. If the code is correctly entered then the LED will blink twice.
  3. Aim the remote at the TV and press Power once. The TV should turn off. If it doesn’t, repeat steps 1-3 for each code listed below for your TV.
  4. If none of the codes work, press and hold Setup until the LED blinks twice, then release Setup.
  5. Then enter on the number pad 9-9-1. The LED will blink twice.
  6. Aim the remote at the TV and press Power once.
  7. Press and release the CH+ key continuously, then stop when the TV turns off.
  8. Press the Power and then your TV should turn back on. Then press SETUP to lock in the code.

    1. Press 982. If the CBL button blinks twice that means the remote is Locked. If the CBL button blinks 4 times that means the remote is Unlocked.

  3. Press the CBL button once.
  4. Hold Setup until the CBL button blinks twice.

Setting TV Code
  1. Press and release TV at the top of the Remote Control.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP until the TV Key blinks twice.
  3. Find your TV Code in the table in the PDF above.
  4. Type the 4-Digit code. If the code is entered correctly the TV key will blink twice.
  5. Aim the remote at the TV and press the TV key, if the code is correct the TV will cut off.
  6. If the TV doesn’t cut off, try Steps 1-5 again with the next code.
  7. If none of the codes work, press TV once, then press SETUP until the TV key blinks twice.
  8. Enter on the keypad 9-9-1. The TV key blinks twice.
  9. Aim the remote at the TV and press the TV once.
  10. Continually press and release CH+ until the TV turns off. Stop when the TV turns off.
  11. Press SETUP once to lock in the code. The TV key blinks twice.

Setting up Gateway ID #
  1. Locate the remote that controls the TV in the room with the gateway (if this remote goes to the TV in the room with the gateway, use it).
  2. On the gateway, press the Menu button.
  3. Then on the remote, press the Down Arrow, then press Select.
  4. Press the PPV button and you should have an informational message on the screen with the source code that the gateway requires. This should be a three-digit number. Please write this down.
  5. Press and hold the LED button. After a short pause, the LED light should start flashing. Now press the Record button (button with the little red dot on it) once and release it. This should cause the LED button to remain solid.
  6. Press and release the B key. The LED button temporarily turns off. Releasing the key causes the LED button to light up again. You can now set the correct Gateway ID.
  7. Enter the three-digit code assigned to your RG (i.e. 007).
  8. The LED light will blink twice.
Setting up Remote for TV Stream
  1. Press and hold the LED button. Hold until the LED button blinks, then release. Press the Record button (button with the little red dot on it) once and release.
  2. Press and release the A key. The LED button temporarily turns off. Releasing the key causes the LED button to light up again. You can now set the correct Remote Control ID.
  3. Enter the single-digit Remote Control ID.
    1. Press 0 for Stream 1 (TV Channel 3) if the Gateway is in the same room.
    2. Press 1 for Stream 1 (TV Channel 3) if the Gateway is NOT in the same room.
    3. Press 2 for Stream 2 (TV Channel 7).
    4. Press 3 for Stream 3 (TV Channel 13).
  4. The LED button will blink three times and go out. The new Remote Control ID is stored in the device.
Setting TV Code
  1. Press and hold the LED button at the top of the remote until it starts flashing. Release the LED button.
  2. Press the Record button (the button with the little red dot on it) one time and release it. The LED button should be on solid now.
  3. Press the C button one time and release it. The LED button should blink off and come back on.
  4. Find the code listed for your brand of TV from the list in the PDF above.
  5. Type the code into the remote. If the code was correct, your remote should now control the power and volume on your TV.
  6. If it was not correct, repeat steps 1-5 and enter the next code.
